      1. Count 4 beats while keeping relaxed

      2. Take a deep breath over 4 beats

  3. How to breathe

    1. Breathe with the stomach, sides and BACK to fill the lungs fully and deeply. The back should expland just like the rest of the body. Sometimes referred to the "inner-tube" of air in vocal circles.

    2. Learn to hold and maintain the air. Learning how to only allow the right amount of air to escape supporting the vocal cords depending on the pitch being created.

  4. Speaking

    1. Remember that speaking on the higher end of your natural speaking voices warms up the soft pallet and releases strain the muscles around the voice box. The goal to balance support from all the muscles connected directly and indirectly the voice box.

  5. Soft Pallet

    1. Remember to practice the "yawn" to get in touch with how active that muscle can be.
